Land and Sea Adventures:
About Splash Dive Center and Quest Adventure Tours - Placencia, Belize
BELIZE TOUR OPERATOR OF THE YEAR for 2013!
Splash Dive Centre and Quest Adventure Tours operate together out of a modern facility on the north end of Placencia Village. They can arrange all of your Land and Sea Tours for you. They are very professional, and very committed to high standards of operation and service.
Splash Dive Center in Belize is more than just a regular scuba diving and snorkelling operator. In addition to providing our guests with the very highest standards of service, we aim to make our dive trips educational, informative and fun. That is why all our Divemasters and Instructors are registered guides with the Belize Tourism Board.
Splash Dive Center was founded by Patty Ramirez in 2000 and is also a very important community stakeholder in the village of Placencia and actively involved in both community and environmental projects for protection and sustainable growth.
Patty founded the Splash Kids Club, which helps kids from the local community, who cannot afford scuba lessons, to get certified as PADI Junior Open Water divers. Not only does this help the kids enjoy the rewards of scuba diving, but it gets them started on a potential career as a local guide or PADI Instructor, and more importantly educates them about the importance of long term environmental conservation.
Their team and staff are also actively involved in local conservation projects, such as the Placencia Mooring Masters, and Whale Shark research.
When you choose to take your dive training, snorkelling trips, or scuba diving package of fun dives with Splash Dive Center, you won’t just receive the highest standards of service, and taken to the best scuba dive and snorkeling sites on the Belize Barrier reef. You’ll also be actively contributing back to the long term sustainability of tourism in Placencia and helping to support our local community.

If you feel comfortable being a bit independent, there are some great activities that you can do without a guide. I have information and driving directions at the house for hikes and tubing at the Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve, hiking and zipline at Antelope falls, and other day trips.
You can also ask Orlando to take you fishing for snappers on our boat.
We have 2 bicycles and 3 kayaks that you are welcome to use.
